I've ran across this font and I can't stop starring at it. Something very soothing in its lines and curves. My favorite letters are 'a' and 'e'; and 'e' because it's smiling at me. Very nice font by Daniel Hernández. Can't wait to buy and use it in some of my upcoming projects.
To be honest, before I knew anything about Graphic Design I never though someone had to pay for fonts. I though all fonts in the world magically appeared in Microsoft Word. ...WOW! Silly Me!
There are many free fonts out there. For young graphic designers coming right out of school it can be difficult to buy anything, especially fonts. After browsing the web and looking through my font library I though to highlight the ones that I think are very useful and can fool people into thinking that you have an original, expensive font.
Having an original, non-web typeface will make your new website look more interesting. And, it looks like slab typefaces are getting in style this year.
